Zirconia ceramic needle has the ability of self-lubrication, so it is often used as an optical fiber connector, and it is a ceramic rod needle with high precision requirements. The optical fiber connector precisely butts the two end faces of the optical fiber, so that the optical energy output by the transmitting optical fiber can be coupled into the receiving optical fiber to the maximum extent. Ceramic needle is the core component of this kind of optical fiber connector. It is a high-precision special ceramic part made of nano-zirconia (ZrO2) through a series of formulations and processing, and its aperture and roundness error are 0.5. The connector is a detachable and classified optical fiber movable connector, which makes the connection and conversion scheduling of optical channels more flexible and can be used for debugging and maintenance of optical communication systems.

The following advanced technologies are used in the manufacture of optical fiber ceramic needle products:

(2) The forming technology of slender micropores with inner hole diameter of 0.125mm and length of 12 ~ 15mm;

(4) the process control method of submicron sintered grains;


(5) The insertion loss of low-loss optical communication components is ≤ 0.2dB, return loss ≥ 40dB。
