The functional difference between servo tensioner and magnetic tensioner:

At present, the tension control systems such as Mitsubishi, Montfort, and KORTIS are mainly used in industrial equipment. According to the model, there are force measuring type, floating roller type and so on.

To put it simply, the general tension controller only needs to perform two basic operations: installation, debugging and fine-tuning. Other specific parameters depend on the specific functions required.

The installation and debugging steps are very simple, just follow the instructions step by step. Generally, it is clearing, calibration, etc., depending on the model.

Fine-tuning is based on the tension control system with PID setting function

For a controller, the PID setting is generally adjusted as follows: generally, the differential D value is set to zero first, the integral I is set to a small number between 5-10, and the P value is changed from small to large until the system can be adjusted. Stable, when P is adjusted, add an external disturbance to see the time it takes for the system to return to equilibrium. If it is too slow, increase the I value until a satisfactory effect is achieved. Generally, it is best to change the system after two cycles to reach equilibrium.

As for the most basic function of the tension controller, of course, it is to control the tension. Take the constant tension system as an example.

The actual value of tension is compared with the set value to control the magnitude of the output value.

For example, the tension setting value is 5N, when the actual value is greater than 5N, the output value becomes smaller/larger (depending on the phase setting) infinitely approaching 100%/0 (depending on the phase setting) to control the braking torque or inverter frequency. When the tension is too large or too small, the set value should be adjusted appropriately.
